Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around every once in a while, you might miss it.

Hi! If you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking about starting (or continuing) your therapy journey. If you are looking for a therapist who is sensitive to the unique ways that the world challenges us, you have found one! As a queer, chronically ill, and neurodivergent person, I understand what it’s like to feel like you’re constantly swimming against the current. My goal is to provide a space where you can get out of the water, catch your breath, and decide where you want to go.

In therapy, we will work together to unpack your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and patterns. We might get curious about where those things came from – are they yours, or have they been passed down on to you? What do you want to keep, and what is it time to let go of? Perhaps the past is less important to you, and you would prefer to focus on your here-and-now needs and coping skills – we can do that too! My therapy style is informed by the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, feminist theory, a dash of “parts work,” and most importantly, by you and your unique needs. I believe that understanding what is and what is not under our control can help us make better decisions and live in line with our personal values.

I am particularly passionate about working with neurodivergent and/or chronically ill adolescents and adults, as well as anyone who is seeking support navigating our constantly evolving social worlds. I am a strong supporter of disability justice, anti-racism, queer liberation, and trans rights. Outside of therapy, you might find me at a movie, a concert, or knitting in the park. (Or perhaps you won’t find me, because I’m hanging out at home with my cat and watching The X-Files again.)

If any of this resonates with you and you are interested in working together, reach out! I’m glad that you are here – and congratulations on taking these first steps.
