F.A.Q.

You’ve got questions–we’ve got answers! And if these don’t answer your questions, please contact us through the form below.

  • The simple answer: support, collaboration, acceptance, and non-judgment. More specifically, therapy starts with you telling your story. You define the goals and together we determine the best path to get there. How long therapy lasts, what each session looks like, even how frequently you meet your therapist are all up for discussion. We don’t believe in following templates for life or for therapy. Your therapy experience is individual to you.

  • All of our clinicians are comfortable and experienced in working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, and navigating life transitions.

Outside of this, each of our clinicians has specialized knowledge in working with at least one population, concern, or modality. You can learn more about each clinician’s specialty and style here. If you aren’t sure which clinician is the best fit for you, please feel free to reach out through our contact form and we can help determine the best fit!

  • We offer individual talk therapy for adults and adolescents ages 13+.

Some of our therapists offer relationship therapy for all types of relationships (couples, triads, polycules, etc), lead therapy and/or support groups. We do not currently offer family therapy.

We also have an art therapist on staff who provides individual and group art therapy.

  • We do! We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and Aetna PPO plans. Some of our clinicians are in-network with Cigna/Evernorth PPO. Our admin team will verify your insurance benefits and inform you of what sessions will cost based on your plan.

For all other insurances, we provide a complete billing service as an out-of-network provider. This means that, while you will pay for the visits at the time of service, we will submit the claims on your behalf so that you are reimbursed by insurance ASAP– no submitting your own superbills!

Please note that, while we will verify insurance coverage prior to your appointment, you are encouraged to familiarize yourself with the specifics of your coverage (deductible, copay, coinsurance, etc).

  • Our full self-pay rate for individual therapy is $175 for the intake appointment and then $150 for each following session. In an effort to increase accessibility and align with our values, our therapists do offer sliding scale, though spots are limited.

We also have interns who can see clients at low rates or pro-bono.

  • We see clients both in-person and online. Therapists set their own schedules and times they offer each type of appointment. In-person sessions are held at our office in Andersonville. Online sessions are held through our HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and electronic health record system, TherapyAppointment. Note that you must be in Illinois for online sessions.

  • You can reach out to the therapist you are interested in seeing directly, or use the contact form below to reach out to our admin and start the process.
